Duane Palyka is a retired professor from the Rochester Institute of Technology School of Film and Animation who lives in the South Wedge. For the past eight years after retiring, he has played saxophone and clarinet with the Eastman School of Music New Horizons program-- mostly with the Vintage Jazz Band. His wife Heide Parreño played flute with the Green Band during that time. Duane has video recorded most of the Green Band concerts.
